Martin Kpebu is a Partner at GT Legal Africa, specialising in constitutional law, corporate law, and human rights litigation. He is a human rights activist and has successfully argued four landmark cases before the Supreme Court of Ghana, resulting in decisions that all criminal offences are now bailable, sureties can no longer be jailed when an accused absconds, the state must disclose evidence it intends to rely on before trial, and bail applications must be heard within 48 hours of arrest.

Martin has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation, corporate law, oil and gas law, and media law. He is the founder of the Juvenile Justice Project, an NGO providing free legal services to juveniles in Accra, which has been partnered with UNICEF and the Legal Aid Commission. He also engages in mass media advocacy on legal issues and social justice through television and radio programmes.

Martin holds an LL.M in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Ghana, an LL.B from the University of Ghana, a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law, and a BSc in Business Administration (Banking and Finance) from the University of Ghana. He lectured at Central University (2014–2018) and Accra Technical University (2008–2014).
