Nicholas Normeshie

Nicholas Normeshie is an Associate at the firm, specialising in insurance law, corporate and commercial law, and litigation. He has extensive experience within the insurance industry across underwriting, product development, and claims administration, and is a certified insurance expert and qualified lawyer in Ghana.

Nicholas began his insurance career as an underwriter and is credited with setting up an in-house claims administration for an international insurance company, which was replicated in its Africa operations in Tanzania, Uganda, and Senegal. His practice covers civil litigation, tax law, compliance, labour law, and AML/CFT, with additional expertise in business process improvement and strategy. He previously worked as Legal Manager at Allianz Life Insurance and trained in tax and corporate practice at Ali Nakyea and Associates.

Nicholas holds an LL.B from Mountcrest University College, a BL from the Ghana School of Law, a BA in Economics and Sociology from the University of Cape Coast, a Masters in Strategic Management and Leadership from KNUST, and an International Certification in Micro Insurance from Frankfurt University and Ghana Insurance College.
