Cyril Effah

Cyril Effah is an Associate at ENS in Ghana, specialising in fintech law, corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity. He advises on company formation and corporate structuring, employment relationships and compliance, and regularly assists clients with incorporations, group reorganisations, corporate governance matters, shareholder arrangements, and the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial agreements.

Cyril also advises on employment and labour law matters, including employment contracts, workplace policies, regulatory compliance, and employment-related risk management. He has experience in regulatory advisory, artificial intelligence governance, and data protection, and has advised clients across the fintech, financial services, private equity, capital markets, and general commercial sectors. His work includes legal due diligence, reviewing and negotiating transaction and investment documentation, and supporting domestic and cross-border transactions, as well as advising fintech and technology-enabled businesses on regulatory compliance, licensing, digital payments, data protection, and AI governance.

Cyril holds an LL.B from the University of Ghana and a Professional Certificate in Law (QCL) from the Ghana School of Law. He is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana and is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
