Giorgia Manu

Giorgia Manu is an Associate at ENS in Ghana, specialising in infrastructure law, project finance, banking and finance law, and energy law. She advises clients on legal matters relating to mining, project development, and corporate finance, with experience advising both local and international financiers on domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including property finance, project finance, development finance, export credit-backed financing, and trade finance.

Giorgia regularly advises clients in the capital markets sector on sovereign and corporate bonds and derivatives, and frequently assists with tax advisory matters ranging from tax implications on proposed transactions to tax waiver applications. Her experience in the energy sector includes advising on thermal, hydro, and renewable energy deals, as well as transactions in both the downstream and upstream sectors.

Giorgia holds an LL.B from the University of York, an LPC MSc from the University of Law, a Professional Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law, and a Certificate in Mining Law from Osgoode Law School, York University. She is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana and an attorney and counsel at law of the State of New York, United States.
