Thaddeus Sory, Esq. FCIArb

Thaddeus Sory, Esq. FCIArb is the Founder and Senior Partner at Sory & Partners @ Law, with over 26 years of experience specialising in arbitration and mediation. He is one of Ghana’s most accomplished dispute resolution lawyers, with a practice encompassing complex commercial litigation, constitutional matters before the superior courts, and domestic and international arbitration, in which he appears both as counsel and as arbitrator. He has appeared as counsel in landmark matters that have established binding precedent in Ghanaian constitutional law.

He has extensive experience in litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution, advising clients across a broad range of contentious matters. He is widely recognised within the profession for the breadth and depth of his courtroom experience and serves on the panel of arbitrators of the Ghana Arbitration Centre. He lectures in Advocacy and Ethics at the Ghana School of Law.

Prior to founding the firm, he served as Managing Partner of Dery & Co. for approximately ten years. He holds an LL.B from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
