Akua Agyekumwaa Kontoh, Esq. MCIArb is an Associate at Sory & Partners@Law, a multifaceted Ghanaian law firm headquartered in Accra with an additional office in Wa, Upper West Region. She was called to the Ghana Bar in October 2023 and became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) in 2021.

She is a General Practitioner and her work includes supporting various legal matters across the Firm's practice areas, which encompass corporate law, investment, banking, insurance, mergers and acquisitions, property, labour and industrial relations, telecommunications, intellectual property, administration of estate and probate, construction, conveyancing and drafting, litigation, alternative dispute resolution, real estate, immigration, aviation, family law, environment law, energy and natural resources, and commercial and sports arbitration, mediation and negotiation.

She holds a first degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and completed the Professional Course at the Ghana School of Law. She is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. She speaks English.
