Amina Abugdanpoka Kaguah

Amina Abugdanpoka Kaguah is the Head of ENS in Ghana, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, and corporate and commercial law. She has extensive experience across telecommunications, financial services, energy, and FMCG sectors, with specific expertise in employment and labour, insolvency, intellectual property, and tax law.

Amina previously held the position of Director and Senior Counsel for the Africa Middle East region for a Fortune 500 company in the energy sector for several years before returning to ENS, bringing significant in-house and corporate advisory experience to her practice.

Amina holds an LL.B from the University of Ghana and a Professional Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law. She is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana, a Notary Public, and a member of the Ghana Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

She is consistently recognised as a leading lawyer by IFLR1000 (M&A), Chambers Global Guide (Corporate/Commercial), and The Legal 500 EMEA (Commercial, Corporate and M&A, Energy, Capital Markets, and Infrastructure Projects), and has been featured in IFLR1000 Women Leaders.
