Divine Dotse Tettey

Divine Dotse Tettey is the Managing Partner at Dotse@Law in Ghana. He is dual qualified as a lawyer in England and Wales and Ghana, and is a member of the Ghana Bar Association, the Law Society of England and Wales, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), and the International Compliance Association. He has over twelve years' cumulative experience in corporate financial advisory, investment banking, private equity fund management, industrial operations, and general law practice.

His practice spans trade law, energy and oil and gas law, extractives law, investment law, labour law, corporate finance, private equity, structured finance, capital markets, and civil litigation. He has provided legal and investment advice to clients across various sectors of the Ghanaian economy, including mining, energy, oil and gas, finance, investments, and private equity. He has extensive experience in private equity investments across West Africa, having been involved in deal origination, execution, and closing in Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Niger, and Mali.

He holds a BSc in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Cape Coast, an LLB from the University of London (UK), a BL from the Ghana School of Law, and a Qualifying Certificate from the Solicitors Regulation Authority (UK). He is also qualified as a Dealing Officer through the Ghana Stock Exchange Securities Industry Courses. He has participated in conferences and workshops, including the Private Equity Forum at Oxford University, UK.
