Abdul-Lateef Shaibu

Abdul-Lateef Shaibu is a Senior Associate at Ntrakwah & Co., specialising in dispute resolution and litigation. He represents clients before Ghanaian courts in corporate and commercial disputes, land disputes, constitutional litigation, labour and employment matters, and contractual disputes. He is also experienced in arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, providing strategic thinking and negotiation skills to help clients achieve favourable settlements while safeguarding their business interests.

He has advised on the incorporation of companies, corporate governance, and company secretarial work, and has drafted, reviewed, and negotiated major commercial agreements. He has also provided counsel in areas such as intellectual property, construction, labour, and real estate law. His broad exposure strengthens his litigation practice, equipping him with a deep understanding of the legal and business issues at the heart of disputes.

Abdul-Lateef holds an LL.B and BA (Hons) from the University of Ghana, a Qualifying Certificate of Law from the Ghana School of Law, and a Diploma in Business Management & Administration from ICM-UK. He serves as a part‑time lecturer in company law, sharing his expertise with aspiring legal professionals. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
